When you visit our website, take the AI Quiz diagnostic, or register for the Command Center workshop, Hedgestone Business Advisors ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") may collect the following information:

- Quiz responses: The questions and answer choices you select during the AI Quiz diagnostic, used to compute your score and personalized report.
- Automatically collected information: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and date/time of access.
- Device information: Device type, screen resolution, and general geographic location (city/region level based on IP address).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Computing and displaying your personalized AI Quiz report.
- Sending the report to your email address upon request, and event reminders or Zoom links if you register for the Command Center workshop.
- Delivering follow-up communications related to Hedgestone events, tools, and resources (only if you opted in).
- Improving our website, diagnostic, events, and services.
- Responding to your inquiries or requests.
- Complying with legal obligations.
We will never use your contact information for purposes unrelated to Hedgestone Business Advisors events and services.
3. SMS / Text Messages
If you provide your phone number and opt in to receive text messages, the following applies:
- Consent is not a condition of any purchase or registration. You are not required to opt in to SMS to take the AI Quiz, get your report, or register for the Command Center workshop.
- Message frequency may vary. You may receive event reminders, Zoom links, and related communications. We will not exceed 10 messages per month.
- Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
- To opt out, reply STOP to any text message. You will receive a confirmation message and no further texts will be sent.
- For help or support, reply HELP to any text message, or contact us at info@hedgestone.com.
- We do not share your phone number, SMS opt-in status, or SMS consent data with any third parties for their marketing purposes.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
4. Email Communications
If you provide your email address and opt in to receive emails, the following applies:
- Emails are only sent if you have opted in during quiz submission, or if you explicitly request your AI Quiz report by email.
- You may receive event reminders, Zoom links, your AI Quiz report, follow-up content, and related communications from Hedgestone Business Advisors.
- You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email.
- After unsubscribing, you will no longer receive marketing emails from us. Transactional messages (such as a Zoom link for an event you registered for) may still be sent.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
We may share your information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our website and delivering events, including:
- Resend -- for sending transactional and marketing emails.
- Zoom -- for hosting live workshop sessions and delivering meeting links.
- Upstash -- for secure data storage of registrations and quiz responses.
- Vercel -- for hosting our website and serverless infrastructure.
These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us. We may also disclose your information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our Company and users.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Specifically:
- Quiz responses and registration data are retained for up to 24 months after your last interaction with us.
- If you opt out of communications, we will retain a record of your opt-out preference to ensure we honor it.
